I watched a Jamcore DZ’s video  and I learned good stuff.

My intention is to explain masturbation’s effect on a sport activity without being vulgar. Masturbation is a normal activity for some people and abnormal for others. In some religions, it’s a forbidden or ignoble activity but it’s an activity that most people do.

For this person, masturbation is a normal activity because it’s natural and give a good mood. It’s not something bad.

The guilty person

For this person, masturbation is an abnormal activity, ignoble but despite that, this person does it and still feels guilty after masturbation.

The obsessed person

For this person, masturbation is an obsessive activity. This person could masturbate every hour, every day.

The bored person

For this person, masturbation is an activity to kill boredom. He’s a person who has nothing to do in life or in the day and doesn’t know what to do, masturbation.

How the body reacts

  1. The intensity of masturbation increases (black line)

  2. There is a release of hormones, it’s dopamine. Before masturbation, there is a first release of dopamine that cause sexual arousal and there are other dopamine release during masturbation (blue line)

  3. Sexual arousal during masturbation will start the process to have the explosion, this explosion is orgasm (red line).

  4. Once the orgasm has happened, there is a release of hormones, it’s prolactin. Prolactin causes the loss of interest to continue masturbation. You satisfied and you don’t want to continue to masturbate. In some situation, prolactin can make you feel guilty (green line).

Stop masturbation for 1-3 weeks

There is a black line in the middle of the chart. This is the line of testosterone. When you stop masturbation for 1-3 weeks, there is an increase in testosterone rate. But after 3 weeks, the testosterone rate returns to normal. You have to base on your normal testosterone rate to see if your testosterone is affected by anything.

It’s possible that during masturbation, the testosterone rate is below your normal testosterone rate. In this case, it’s another problem and it’s necessary to see your doctor for more details.

Most people think that masturbation makes you lose testosterone. So if masturbation makes you lose testosterone, it means that masturbation also make you lose muscles. The truth is that this myth is wrong.

The answer is « No » because the elements that influence muscle gain are training program, nutrition and rest/sleep. The only thing that masturbation does before or after a training session is the increase in heart rate.


Now that you have this information, it doesn’t mean that I encourage you to masturbation several times a day, every day. You do this when you want according to your desires but in moderation.

Your Life Reflects Your Thoughts


If you have a real vision, a real dream, cultivates it, put it in your heart, in your mind, be obsessed with it. You are your thoughts. In your life, good things don’t happen because you’re a good person, it happens because you wanted in a conscious or unconscious way. Your life is a manifestation of your thoughts. If your vision or your dream is a career in the fitness industry, be obsessed with it. Includes people in your dream, this is what I tell people who want to be part of my team : « Listen, if your vision or your dream doesn’t include helping others, your vision is too small. I’m not interested ». There are people who have a phenomenal physics, it’s the world class but all they do, it’s make selfies to show their abs and that’s not interests me.

I don’t want that new generations see these people and say this is what is being a man or a woman, show abs all day. It doesn’t mean anything, a homeless person can have abs. Abs aren’t a goal to have a healthy body but on Instagram people make believe anything.


People like Instagram with filters, everyone thinks it’s raw pictures. The person took the photo the day after the competition and displays it on Instagram 6 months later and when you see the person in real life, it’s not quite the same.

Be obsessed with your goals, your dreams to help people and not by something that makes you look cool. Everyone is beautiful, no one is more beautiful than another, it’s subjective and it’s not important. What you have in your head and in your heart, that’s what is really important. I’m a pessimistic person because sometimes I look people and I say : « Why are you doing this, tell him something to help ? ».

I guess when you think fitness industry, everything that’s inside is healthy but the truth is that in many ways it’s unhealthy, especially mentally. It’s like the guy’s story who a few days after the competition had taken diuretic for his rendez-vous with a girl (everytime I think back, I tell myself that it’s not possible), it’s sad.

Sometimes I drink Coke, beer, rum, I eat biscuits but I’m trying to eat healthy as much as possible. You never see me on Instragram with a huge pizza because I don’t want a person sees this photo and say : « Ah I also have a slow metabolism, I can do the same ». I want people to be responsible for contents they place. I do it as often as possible to give to people great information.

Horrible Romanian Deadlift

I told you that I had added weights in my training program and exercises I couldn’t do all reps in a good form, I kept the same weight but I do 5 sets of 6 reps for work technique.

But there is an exception for squat and Romanian Deadlift because I make another periodization. For these two exercices, I have not added weights but I increased 2 repetitions. Squat with 4 sets of 10 reps at 110 kg (242 lbs), it’s good. Romanian Deadlift, NO ! In the first set, technically it was shit. I had to do 4 sets of 10 repetitions in each set and the repetitions numbers was different for each.

It was whatsoever ! Now I think I could have hurt myself. My ego took over, I wanted to do a good performance as squat. In each set, I think I lost my grip in the 6-7th repetition. When you hold the the barbell with your fingertip, you start to make strange movements.

I confess, I’m not yet ready to do 4 sets of 10 repetitions with 110kg (242 lbs). There it’s done ! So from now, I’ll do 5 sets of 6 reps. I put it in the category of exercises that I have to work technique and especially the grip.

I don’t know why but I wanted that squat and Romanian deadlift have the same weight to each periodization but it doesn’t work. Each muscle group evolves in its own way, so each exercice have its own weights. It’s simple but I was obsessed to make my performances with squat and Romanian Deadlift with the same weight, it’s weird ?!?

I see only one solution, it was an ego trip and an ego trip is useless. I will return to the base with Romanian deadlift. And you ? You’re already happened to persist in a exercice and do a different repetitions number in each sets ?


Legs Day At Higher Level

As I said in a previous article, there are 3 days I increased 2 reps all my exercises. The day I expected more, it was the legs day. I didn’t increase reps for squat because I want to improve my technique and I do again the Romanian Deadlift so for these 2 exercices I will add 2 reps in two months.

My friends, it was intense, making it a long time that I hadn’t done as intense session. I was “pissed” I so want to make all the repetitions in each set feel that my muscles burn put me in aggressive mood.

When I was recovering and that someone passed very close to me, it irritated me. When I saw guys who talked more than they did exercises, it irritated me. It’s funny because I don’t take protein powder, I don’t take pre-workout, I don’t take. I eat 5 times a day that’s all.

It’s true that this weekend, we had a delirious with my mates, it’s become « predators ». I liked the concept so much that I like to say I am a predator, it was to laugh at the base but it’s true that when I look back, I was in a bubble in « predator » mode. I was so obsessed to succeed as much as possible each exercices I was in extreme concentration.

Well, I greeted people I knew, I’m polite. A moment, a girl I know came in the gym and greeted me. I asked her 2-3 questions about her weekend (she caught cold) and I motivated her a little bit for her training. But sometimes she looked at me smiling while I was recovering. Yes because I gave everything and I was breathing hard like I did a sprint at every pause of recovery.

I looked her quickly and I was back in my in training. I ignore girls in the gym now, I don’t want to be distracted. That’s right, you see it yourself. Sometimes when there is a girl, guys start screaming and after they look to see if the girl looks them. This is not playtime here, shit. You want to flirt ? Go talk to her and don’t to it, it’s simple, shit.

Going back to my training, I did everything except for the Romanian Deadlift. In the long I loose my grip but I have less back pain, it means that my technique improves. I’m so happy, I can continue my training no need to reduce reps.

This is a video I watch 2 times a day to stay motivated (I even the audio version in my playlist). CT Fletcher is really the guy who will put you a kick in the ass if you go to the gym to show off. With him is ruthless and it’s that which is good because it’s just like that you’re going to get results. Here are the commandments of COMPTON’s boss (yes, like Dr. Dre and Ice Cube).

I) I command you to grow


Train even harder your mindset that your body. Your mind is the captain and the boat is your body, your body must obey your brain. Instructs your body to gain muscle and he will obey. It’s simple, right? Me, I think.

There are people who complain that despite the training, they don’t develop their bodies. I’m not surprised, their spirit is weak ! They don’t have the right mental attitude and courage to keep moving forward despite the pain and physical suffering. If you let your body control you, you’re a puppet, normal nobody takes you seriously.

“I command you to grow”, this is not just a slogan. It is a belief system that more influence than the Pope himself. It must be said by believing in it and trusting and only then your body will gain muscle.

II) Question the impossible


Never accept that someone limit you to do what you want. You can’t avoid it but some assholes will tell you you can’t do this or that. I’m here to say FUCK to these people. They are in this situation because they chose to be there. It’s not because they can’t do it you can’t do it too. You are the one to decide what is possible and impossible.

Don’t let anyone at the gym or even a scientist to tell you what you can or can’t do. If you still accept this bullshit of “experts” who decide that this is impossible, we would have no electricity, no airplanes, etc.

Requests yourself what is impossible and try it for yourself first.

III) Embrace the pain


Want to learn somethings true in your life ? Pain is inevitable. In the world of sports, we must accept the pain and discomfort as a necessary evil because it’s in these extreme conditions that new muscles is born.

I’m not like those fools who say, “Pain is a weakness leaving the body”. I Fuck these motherfuckers, pain is what scares the average person instinctively shrinks away from, but a warrior like you, you’re going to learn to accept it and it will be your friend.

Yes the pain will be your friend because it’s the most sincere thing that allows you to go beyond your limits. Be comfortable to be in a non-comfort zone.

IV) Listen to your body

Your body is the most powerful technology created by Mother Nature. She has equipped you with the ability to do amazing physical and mental feats.

Now stop being arrogant and pay close attention, deciphers what your body is trying to tell you: “I like what you do there then continues” or “You should stop what you’re doing because it doesn’t work for me “. Your body knows best, it never lies to you, it never betrays you.

Let your body guide you inside and outside of the gym. He knows you better than you think you know it.

Your body can tell you the number of sets you should do, the weight you have to lift. Don’t just look at the numbers of the weight of someone else or to follow the routine of someone else in the gym. They don’t know what is good for your body, unless they’re a human body whisperer (at which point you should just stay far, far away from that weirdo).

Put your ego alongside for a moment and you can fucking listen to your Master Yoda in your body.

V) Focus


Stay focused ! What does bettering yourself every day in the gym mean to you ? If you’re answer is something like : “I’m doing this just because …” Stop, stop reading this article, you waste your time doing something else. Don’t think for a second that I’m playing here because I don’t spend my time motivating “weekend athlete”.

This path of growth, pain and personal, physical conquest should not be something that you chose at random “just because …”. You chose this path because this is the image of your success and betterment is seared firmly into your mind’s eye. You have to commit yourself to this lifestyle.

The next motherfucker that says “just because …”, I put a dumbbell in his throat.

Be focused, well-chosen your goal and stick to it until it is achieved.

VI) Change your routine


Don’t let your body adapt. Your body is beautiful, it’s smarter than any son of a bitch in white coats. Your body adapts to everything you submit to him after an intense training period. Consequently, you have to change your routine, don’t be comfortable in your routine.

Going into the gym every day with the mentality of “business as usual”, I guarantee you’ll stagnate. Change is critical to development. It’s you who holds the steering shift and your body are going to develop.

VII) Build muscle from all angles


Different angles are essential to gain muscle. Shut up and let me explain ! First, you must understand that each body is unique. The way your muscles are connected and your bone structure are different from mine.

In theory, you and I can do the same action but experience to gain muscle is different. We are doing the same exercise but “feels” the muscle differently. The angle in which you put your body allows you to gain muscle. Test with the angle that allows you to feel the pain. Find the angle that makes you feel the muscle work.

Don’t be afraid to go outside the norm because the perfect angle to your body is only for you. Nobody else does the same.

VIII) Overloading the muscle


The word “overloaded” defined by myself, has two meanings:

  • Tax your muscle by putting heavy weight and forcing them to lift even if your muscles are like : « What the fuck, what the fuck is hard !”. Progress and continuous improvement.

  • Continues to make the movement until your muscle screams, burns because of the volume of work. Don’t give up after only a few sets. Lift with enough volume until you can lift no more.

In both cases, you get out of your comfort zone. Order your body to go beyond its limits to adapt to the new routine cycle and gain muscle.

IX) Be obsessed


Obsession has a bad reputation but it’s there, it’s the crucial missing ingredient to people who are still just « average ». Excellence in body and mind can’t be achieved without obsession.

You want to be the best for turning pancakes, washing windows or throw the garbage, there is no recipe, you have to be obsessed. The desire must be in every cell of your body.

You have to dream about it, sleep with, eat with, breathe with. Ask all Champions if they aren’t obsessed 24h / 24h, 7d / 7d to be the No. 1.

X) Never be satisfied


A full, satisfied man is happy with where he is and what he has done. A hungry man will rip that satisfied man into two half-smirking bodies (with a smile) to get what he wants (I’m using “man” universally here. Ladies, I’m talking to you, too !).

Satisfaction and complacency are toxic because they indicate in mind that you have reached the end of your growth, the end of your journey. Do you think your idols that are older than you, would be where they are if they had a few years ago said: “It’s good I stop there, I’ve reached my limits, it’s the moment to be like those of the middle class”.

Fuck, no! Say it with me now: Fuck average. Never be satisfied. Always move forward. Always grow. This is the last and most important commandment. Never. Be. Satisfied
