The Key To Have Success

I watched an Olivier Roland’s video  and I learned good stuff.

The key of success in any field is something everyone is looking for. I’ve been looking for this and I think you too.

There is a quote to find the key. It’s a quote from Sir William Olser , the father of modern medicine Here is his quote : «  The very first step towards success in any occupation is to become interested in it ».

I think you had the same reaction as me when you read the quote : « Yes, it’s obvious ». Yet if Sir William Olser said that, it was because he noticed that people around him didn’t follow this principle.

Now look around you. I’m sure that in your friends group, there are people who want to earn more money or be rich ? Are these people really interested in knowing how to earn more money effectively ? In my case, I am the only one.

Oh another thing. I’m sure that in your friends group, there are people who want to be happy ? Are these people really interested in knowing how to be happy effectively ? In my case I am the one.

In my friends group, there are people who want to be happy and rich but that’s just words. And when I tell them what I found they, often, tell me they already knew that. So I ask them : «  What do you know about that ? But why you don’t do it ? ». I don’t explain you the answer, you already know that.

The truth is, if people don’t do something, it’s because they’re not really interested in that . Everyone has different goals.

To be really interested, it’s to ask yourself questions, to look for information, to meet people who have reached the goal, to read books that will help you reach the goal, to meet people who have not yet reached the goal but which are in the same movements as you, etc.

Here’s the question I ask you. This question is the first step to your success : « What do you want to accomplish in your life and are you interested enough in it to succeed ? ».

For exemple, if you want to become a successful author, you need to learn. You need to learn and practice regularly and for a long time. You need to read books where successful authors share their advice. You need to follow trainings with successful authors. You need to be part of a group of authors on Facebook, etc. With internet, there is so much resource that you have no excuses. Success is a long-term investment.

Take a few hours on a quiet weekend to really think about what you want to accomplish in your life. Very often, these are things your parents don’t like but if you’re really interested you’ll prove them wrong with your success. Don’t forget, success is a long-term investment.

I have a friend in prison and the last time I saw him, he said to me : «  You know Stephane, the best revenge in life is success ».

When you start, be at 100 %

I read a Nerd Fitness article and there is good stuff.

It was when the last time you were at 100 % to change your life ?

If you’re like me, it had to be hard. We’re afraid of being at 100 % and not succeeding. We want a plan B. We’re afraid to fail in front of our parents and friends.

Instead of being at 100 %, we will be at 50 % by this way, if we fail, we can say : « this system doesn’t work » or « I didn’t really try » or « I already knew it wasn’t going to work ».

Let’s listen to this Charles Bukowski’s poem :

It’s true, this poem doesn’t concern physical transformation but it is applicable .

We prefer to be at 50 % because if we’re at 100 % and we fail, what is left ? If we’re at 100 % and we fail, we will say to ourselves we’re failures, we aren’t good enough.

In reality, be at 100 % and fail is the best thing that could happen. When we used the maximum of our efforts and we fail, we improve our level for the next time. And especially, we don’t have regret. My mother was still talking to me about her regrets, again, 2 days ago. Regrets is poison.

Talk to people who are older than you and you will see their regret’s list is huge.

  • When we’re at 100 % and we fail, we make the first step to a true improvement.

  • When we’re at 50 % and we fail, we have regrets.

If you want improve your physique, be at 100 %. Give the maximum of your efforts, each day and see what you able to do. It’s not only for few days or weeks, it’s for all your life. You improve your body for all your life, not just to show off on the beach in summer.

Remember, if you try, be at 100 %:

« It could mean derision. It could mean mockery–isolation. Isolation is the gift. All the others are a test of your endurance, of how much you really want to do it ».

« And, you’ll do it, despite rejection and the worst odds. And it will be better than anything else you can imagine. If you’re going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It’s the only good fight there is ».

Or like say Yoda in Star Wars : « Do or do not, there is no try ».

100%

We have one life on this planet and we can’t get what we want by being at 50 % because we’re afraid of failure or rejection or worst, fear of success. It’s the to get out of your comfort zone and be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

No self-sabotage, use the maximum of your efforts to reach your goals.

Two Words To Improve The Life

I read a Nerd Fitness article  and there is good stuff.

The last time you stopped a book at the half ? The last time you walked away during a movie ? The last time you stopped a video game before you beat it ?

« Finish what you start ! », that what my parents tell me and I think is the same thing for you. The good new is parents don’t have right all time. In fact, there is a lot of reason why we need to stop something we haven’t finished.

Here two words that allow us to stop things we don’t like to do : Stop and No, thanks.

Human being like progress. We like check empty boxes and say : « It’s done ! ».

I’m sure, if you begun a book, movie or tv show several days ago, you will do everything to finish it. You want to finish it even if you don’t like it, just to say : « it’s done ».

Remember, ours lives on this earth are limited, so, we need to spend the maximum of time to do things that make us happy. Say : « I need to finish it » is not applicable.

This phenomenon is : « I already begun or I already paid, now I must finish ! ». It’s called « Sunk Cost Fallacy » and there is a good explanation in LifeHack .

Think of all the things you begun and after you realized that is not interessting but you continue to the end like tv shows, books, projects, restaurant’s meal, a crappy relationship or you career (watch this TED’s video  ).

It’s OK to stop to do crappy things in your live to do things that make you happy. It’s not because you begun that you must finish.

We know guts is necessery to have long term success, but spend time and energy to do things with stubbornness and obstinacy isn’t the recipe for success.

We do things in ours lives because we simply begun to do them one time. Stop everything is useless, but stop things we don’t like to do can allow us to use this time and this energy to improve things we like to do.

Say No, it’s cool

Did you watch Jim Carrey’s movie « Yes Man » ? Do you do like Jim Carrey ? Do you do things out of obligation or because you’re afraid to miss anything incredible ? The truth is your life is a piece of shit if you say « yes » to everything.

Say « No » to opportunites, trips and request look terrifying. When you say « No », you ask yourself if you miss something great. But this allow you to focus on important things like take care of yourself, take care of your health and spend time with people who are important for you.

Eric Barker talk about it in his blog   :

« No » creates focus.

Warren Buffett once said : « The difference between successful people and very successful people is that very successful people say « no » to almost everything ».

And that’s what gives them the time to accomplish so much.

Everything is said. We should stop to say « yes » out of obligation. How many nights you went and it was sucked ?

« No, thanks » allow you to avoid to do not interesting things to focus to spend time with family/best friends, improve a skill or an exercice or to learn to cook a health meal.

Everyone complains to don’t have enough time in a day, but we don’t take time to select what is important and what is not important.

Here is a manual to is from today :

  • Stop something – Stop a book, a movie, a project that doesn’t interrest you anymore

  • Say « No » to something – Say « No » to something that you do usually out of obligation and spend your time to do something important or something that makes you happy.

In my case :

Pour mon cas :

  • Stop something – I unsubscribed me from several YouTube channels. Now, I have only YouTube channels that teach me something. I subscribed to 18 YouTube channels and it’s perferct.

 

  • Say « No » to something – I say « No » to a party (reunion) with old students of the primary school. I have enough with parties where everybody repeat same memories. However a old friend put me a word on my door, blablablabla but no. Instead I recover and I’m learning the human anatomy to learn deeply how muscles work during training. Serioulsy, it’s cool.

Teenager’s training (Part 1)

There is a video in 3 parts of JamCore DZ (french video) about teenager’s training I would have liked to have seen when I was 14-15 years . I want to share this with you.

How teens can develop their muscles ? The first thing is that they must be good into their heads. If they’re good into their head that will influence their body and if the body is good this will affect morale.

I know a young neighborhood who wants to lift weights but his parents worry because his body hasn’t finished developing. JamCore DZ trained a 11 years old teenager for 1 year and a half. Results were excellent and since he offers a special training for teenagers.

Nutrition

Before explaining exercises, you must learn to eat well. Without a proper diet, there are no results. Parents can also read this article because they’re the example for their children.

Everything starts in food, without energy we can’t operate. Every food affects us in a different way, that’s why it’s very important to clean our environment. We need to eat healthy food because food industry is destroying us with sugar. Sugar is the enemy # 1

Avoid to eat anything that contains sugar as soda, cereal, fast food, white bread, chocolate and sauces. Even « Fitness » cereals are full of sugar, it’s a scam. The first thing to remove from your diet is sugar.

Latest studies in the US have shown that the rates of obesity and diabetes in the Middle East countries will exceed those of the United States in 5-6 years.

The Plan

The plan is to have the good food to have the good energy for school and etc. When you feel good, your behaviour is good. When you don’t feel good, you get depressed and you can’t express yourself and when you can’t express yourself, you make yourself hit by other students. Good food = good energy !

Breakfast

  • Whole wheat bread. Stop white bread because of sugar.

  • Homade peanut butter ( peanut + blender)

  • Natural homemade jam (fruit in a saucepan)

  • Muesli without sugar

  • natural organic milk (you have to look a little to avoid milk with hormones. Industrial milk create lactose intolerance)

  • Eggs

  • Fruits

  • Oatmeal

Snack for recreation

  • An natural organic yoghurt without sugar and fruit

Lunch

  • Brown pasta or rice

  • White meat

  • Fruits

  • Salad with olive oil

Snack for 16h (4pm)

  • An natural organic yoghurt without sugar and fruit

Dinner

  • White meat or fish

  • Vegetables

  • Baked potato

  • Brown pasta or rice

In these meals you can add good fat such as olive oil, coconut oil or avocado.

For a small budget, we must stay focus on pasta/rice, vegetables, white meat, eggs, fish (tuna), fruit, whole wheat bread, oatmeal, olive oil, yogurt.

For overweight parents, no rice/paste in the evening. Only white meat and vegetables in the evening.

The only thing to drin :: WATER ! Because 75% of the body is water ! This is not soda full of sugar.

Entraînement Pour Adolescent (partie 1)

Il y a une vidéo en 3 parties de JamCore DZ  concernant l’entraînement pour les adolescents que j’aurais aimé avoir vu quand j’avais 14-15 ans. J’ai envie de partager ça avec toi.

Comment les adolescents peuvent faire évoluer leurs muscles ? La première chose est qu’ils doivent être bien dans leurs têtes. S’ils sont bien dans leurs tête cela va influencer leurs corps et si le corps va bien cela va influencer le moral.

Je connais un jeune du quartier qui a envie de soulever des haltères mais ses parents s’inquiètent parce que son corps n’a pas encore fini de se développer. JamCore DZ a entraîné un adolescent de 11 ans pendant 1 an et demi. Les résultats étaient excellents et depuis il propose un entraînement spécial pour les adolescents.

Avant d’expliquer les exercices, il faut apprendre à bien manger. Sans une bonne alimentation, il n’y a pas de résultats. Les parents peuvent aussi lire cette articles parce qu’ils sont l’exemple pour leurs enfants.

Tout commence dans la nourriture, sans énergie nous ne pouvons pas fonctionner. Chaque nourriture nous affecte d’une façon différente, c’est pour cela que c’est très important de nettoyer notre environnement. Il nécessaire de manger de la nourriture saine car l’industrie alimentaire nous détruit avec le sucre. Le sucre est l’ennemi n°1

Evitons de manger tout ce qui contient du sucre comme les soda, céréales, fast-food, pain blanc, chocolat et les sauces. Même les céréales « Fitness » sont rempli de sucre, c’est une arnaque. La première chose à enlever de ton alimentation est le sucre.

Les dernières études aux Etats-unis ont montré que le taux d’obésité et de diabète dans les pays du Moyen-Orient vont dépasser celui des Etats-unis dans 5-6 ans.

Le Plan

Le plan c’est d’avoir de la bonne nourriture pour avoir de la bonne énergie pour l’école et etc. Quand tu te sens bien, tu te comporte bien. Quand tu ne te sens pas bien, tu déprimes et tu ne peux pas t’exprimer et quand tu ne peux pas t’exprimer, tu te fais frapper par les autres élèves. Bonne nourriture = bonne énergie !

Petit déjeuner

  • Pain complet. Arrêt le pain blanc à cause du sucre.

  • Beurre de cacahuète fait à la maison (cacahuète + blender {mixeur})

  • Confiture naturel fait maison (les fruits dans une casserole)

  • Muesli sans sucre

  • Lait naturel bio (il faut chercher un peu pour éviter le lait avec les hormones. Le lait industriel créer l’intolérance au lactose)

  • Oeufs

  • Fruits

  • Flocons d’avoine

Collation pour la récréation

  • Un yogourt naturel bio sans sucre et un fruit

Lunch (repas de midi)

  • Pâtes ou riz complets

  • Viandes blanches

  • Fruits

  • Salade avec du l’huile d’olive

Collation pour 16h

  • Un yogourt naturel bio sans sucre et un fruit

Dîner

  • Viandes blanches ou Poisson

  • Légumes

  • Pomme de terre au four

  • Pâtes ou riz complet

Dans ces repas tu peux ajouter de la bonne graisse comme de l’huile d’olive, huile de noix de coco ou avocats

Pour un petit budget, il faut rester concentrer sur pâtes/riz, légumes, viande blanches, œufs, poisson (thon), fruits, pain complet, flocons d’avoine, huile d’olive, yogourt.

Pour les parents en surpoids, pas de riz/pâte le soir. Uniquement de la viande blanche et des légumes le soir.

L’unique chose à boire : L’EAU ! Parce que 75 % du corps est de l’eau ! Ce n’est pas du soda rempli de sucre.
