I think once you found something and you found it so cool that you got excited about it. You found it so interesting that you talked about it to all your friends, family and so on. And unfortunately, quickly, you realized that everyone didn’t care.
Don’t worry, it did the same with me. In fact, several times already and I know that it will happen to me several times until death.
For example when I stopped Taekwondo because my teacher returned to South Korea, I was out of sport and I was missing. I tried courses in other schools but the timings and location didn’t help me. After being at a 50 Cent’s show (the show was crazy, there was a lot police cars around the stadium, 50 Cent frightening everyone), I enrolled in a small gym in my hood and I really thought it was cool.
Having a flexible schedule to train really helped me manage school and little jobs. After a few weeks of training and reading books and website about fitness/bodybuilding, I talked about fitness to all the people I met. But people weren’t motivated to do sport and when I offered to train with me, they found excuses.
I was really trying to convert everyone to playing sport regularly, no matter what sport. it was important for me. All my family works in hospitals. My family , my uncles, aunts, cousins in Haiti, Switzerland, France United States and Canada and (I just realizing writing this article), I have a lot of friends in medical field. If you know the number of patients stories I know, you go crazy and every dinner it’s the same (even when I’m on vacation with my uncles and aunts).
I can tell you that it’s obvious that if the patients did a little more sports, they would have had better health and they would have avoided the hospital. It’s better for their health and their wallets because once you’re sick, the money from your bank account, pffff, disappears. I’ve seen people make credits in the bank to pay for medical bills and medications. When you see that, it hurts !
Despite my motivation, I couldn’t motivate the people around me to play sports.
After analyzing all this, I felt lonely. It was as if my speech was just an entertainment. Looking at fitness youtubers like Marc Fitt , Jamcore DZ , Steve Cook or Christian Guzman , I found out that they also went through this type of problem. Everyone made one or more videos about their debut and difficulties, it’s motivating.
Documenting what I learn and what I do has given me a source of motivation. I’m a human being and sometimes I don’t want to write an article every day (especially when I see my friends partying) but with the internet, the whole world can see what I do and that, is a pressure of another level.
By creating my blog, every day I can build an international community of people who are as passionate as I am by fitness and blogging.
This blog created me 2 incredible opportunities :
Do you like look stupid in front of others ? I think it’s NO and I’m the same. When you have a blog, a Youtube channel or a podcast, you tell the whole word that you are going to improve your physique and improve your content on the internet, this will create an external source of motivation.
Imagine that a person asks you at what level you are in your evolution ? Can you answer that it’s been 6 months since you did nothing out of laziness ?
My blog allowed me to create an international community of people passionate about the same thing as me and it’s very motivating because I didn’t find it in my entourage.
The most impressive thing is that my blog motivated me to learn something else than fitness like social media, entrepreneurship, learn other programming langages, data science, anatomy, biomechanics and I’ll learn several other skills. At school I didn’t like to learn but with my blog I want to learn and it’s mainly things I can use right away to improve my content and my relationship with my community.
Create your own media
If you feel that people around you don’t care about your passion, don’t be depressed. You just need to increase the number of people you can talk to using the internet. Internet allows you to easily touch people who are passionate about the same thing as you. These people will understand you , accompany you, motivate you and give you challenges to continue.
That’s why if you have not yet created a blog, a Youtube channel or a podcast about the thing you passionate about, it’s time to do it because it’s an excellent source of motivation. The bonus with this is that it could become a long-term company.
The funny thing is that you will see people who criticized you at the beginning, change their mind and encourage you by telling you that you were right.

People have a lot of questions about whey and they become crazy. Companies take advantage of this confusion to make money without educating people.
People who are misinformed think whey help to lose weight. It’s for this reason I’m writing this article to explains how work whey. The notion that whey makes you lose weight or make you shredded is not always the case because you have to follow a very special protocol.
There is 3 types of whey : concentrate, isolate and hydrolizate.
Look this metaphor :
Concentrate = Mini Cooper
Isolate = BMW
Hydrolizate = Porsche
These 3 categories mean the ability to assimilate, save and rebuilt your muscle tissue These 3 categories have the same goal, the only difference is the speed of protein’s absorption by your body. It doesn’t mean the concentrate is bad. In each category there is good and bad quality.
The whey is extracted from cow milk.
Concentrate whey has a rate of protein of 60-80 %. The rate of carbohydrate is high because of of the sugar that has in the form of lactose.
Isolate whey is extracted from concentrate whey by a cold process to not denature the whey. The isolate has a higher rate of protein, less carbohydrate and the same rate of lipid than the concentrate. But there is not lactose. In the isolate whey there is not lactose then if you have flatulence, the quality is bad.
Hydrolizate whey is extracted form isolate. The hydrolizate whey is predigested by a a microfiltration process. This process make absorbing easier for your body. The rate of protein is higher than the isolate.
The isolate and the hydrolizate are more BCAA than the concentrate. The concentrate whey is the slowest to go to muscles to rebuild them.
All this works if you do the good things
Which whey take ?
All depend of your budget. There is rich and poor people. But what is interesting is that you can be poor, buy concentrate whey and gain muscle and you can be rich, buy hydrolizate whey and do stupid stuff and don’t gain muscle. The type of whey doesn’t matter because it’s the person who is organized, disciplined and who have goals that will succeed.
When take whey ?
It’s a snack between breakfast and lunch then between lunch and diner. You can take it after training, it’s better to take an isolate or hydrolizate whey because they’re rich in BCAA (amino acids) to rebuild your muscles faster. You can take also a simple source of sugar like vitargo that composed of maltodextrin and fructose.
Now, if you’re drying out, you can just take isolate or hydrolized to gain muscle.
When can take concentrate , isolate or hydrolizate whey (it depends on your budget) with a good source of carbohydrate (oatmeal and a banana) and a good source of lipid (peanuts or almonds butter). These good source of carbohydrate and lipid are better than mass gainer you can buy in shops. These mass gainers are a lots of crap and sugar in there. Don’t buy mass gainers, it’s expensive and bad for your body.
The notion of whey can allow you to lose weight by magic is a scam ! You have to do things right, it means follow a nutritional plan and a workout plan.
Whey is more absorbed by you body with water. Take it with cow milk is less assimilate, it’s a little bit better with coconut milk and almond milk. But the best way for your body to absorb completely the whey is water.
How much gram per meal ?
For men is around between 30-40gr of protein or whey per meal. It’s around 3gr of leucine that is responsible for the synthesis of protein and also responsible to rebuild muscles. Remember 3gr of leucine is important for the whey’s quality you buy. For women, it’s 20-25gr per meal.
How to know if it’s good quality ?
It’s impossible to buy 1kg (2.2lbs) of high quality whey at prices offered by brands. Because most of companies to sell whey at these prices (high quality whey is very expensive), they do what we called « spiking ». It’s increase rates by playing with amino acids to pass tests and sell more. The 2 countries in the world with the best whey quality are Japan and New-Zealand because their laws are very strict.
You need to check there is 3gr of leucine. The leucine must be on the nutrition facts label or nutrition information panel on the whey’s pack. If it’s less than 2.7gr, don’t take this whey, it’s crap. Why ? Because normally you must have more than 2.7gr of leucine per dose (for men 30-40gr of whey = 3gr of leucine). If there is not the dose of leucine on the nutrition facts label, don’t buy it.
Per dose of whey, you should have 25 % of BCAA and the leucine should be at 11 % of the 25 % of BCAA (around 3gr of leucine).
The source of milk should be without hormones. It means the cow should be fed with grass.
The treatment of protein should be at low temperature as for the isolate so as not to be denatured. If it’s denatured, the quality decreases.
There is not artificial sweeteners and artificial flavor. The less ingredients in the whey, better is the quality.
I will not advise you a brand. You’re a smart person, now with these information, you’re able to select yourself your whey.
Searching, studying, have a great physique is not only the body, it’s also the mind because it’s the mind that make the body even more.
Doing things we know we need to do may sometimes seem impossible. We know we can have a better lifestyle to « stay motivated » and « get focused ». And yet when we work on a long-term project, we have the impression of always starting from scratch.
We doubt : « What’s happening ? Why I can’t do it anymore ? »
I know I need to eat better
But after cook healthy meals for one week, I don’t have the time to cook and I buy pre-prepared meals.
I know I need to train more often
But after train for one week, I’m less motivated, I see no result and I’m demoralised.
I still have a good physique
But I try to have an athletic body like the pros but it’s always frustrating.
I already tought about it and I think you too. Change this situation can be useless if we aren’t well prepared. It’s like a video game when you will fight a Boss with 50 % of your life without potions.
Boost your inventary
It’s real, I advise to everybody to prepare their meal of the day in advance (like my Instagram’s video) to have health meals. And I advise you to eat 1-3 time per week in a restaurant (see tips for eating at restaurant and staying healthy).
There is the perfect plan and the realistic plan. We like prepared perfect plans to reach our goals but in reality, it’s harder. An imperfect plan executed is better than a perfect plan poorly executed.
You can go in a restaurant to eat a big plate of rice, protein and vegetables. It’s quickly prepared, it’s not expensive and you have healthy foods in your body.
Find a blender with a good motor to do fruits/vegetables shakes. It’s perfect for a snack at 16h (4pm).
Improve your armor
Buy a rice cooker to save your time in evening.
These elements help you to reach more easily your daily calories goal. I have never plan my meals for all the year, I plan what I will eat each week (when I go to the supermarket) and each day, I do my best to eat as healthily as possible despite the unexpected. It’s this imperfect plan that I use and I see results ! If I had continued to follow my perfect plan, I think I would have given up because of my environment.
Now, when I see old friends they’re surprised to see how my physique changed better and there are some who jealous me (but there is less brawl than before, it’s cool).
In a video game, when you will fight against a new Boss, you will have the maximum of potions to have the maximum chance of winning. When you attack a new problem in your life, adjust your priorities to build a new habit or miss your attempt to be healthy.
Mercenary and strategy guide
In a video game, you can have mercenaries to help you to fight the Boss and you can unlocked strategies can help you have the advantage.
You used strategy guides or tutarial video to help you to beat a difficult Boss. Some people say it’s « cheat » but it’s up to you to follow instructions and execute them properly for it to work.
In life, you can also have mercernaries and strategy guides. You can find tutorials like « How to do squat properly » or « How to create your workout plan » but often it’s our lack of knowledge or lack of confidence that keeps us from succeeding.
Have a great mercenary (personal trainer) to reach your goal who all times yelling, prodding, educating and helping you to have results. Just have somebody to help you for one session or for one week can do the difference between long term success and long term frustration.
That means you need to have a mercenary (personal trainer) forever ? No, but it’s good to have the opportunity for several months to learn from a great mercenary (personal trainer) to follow the patterns set out in a strategy guide to have confidence to attack the Boss without being assisted.
A victory is a victory
When you try to fight the Boss, all that matter is that you have 1 % of life when the Boss has 0 %. This can be an ungly fight and even you used 10 potions, this victory is important to continue. Hire a personal trainer to learn properly to do squat and deadlift. Contact this personal trainer one month later to check your technique (mercenary).
Hard to learn a new language ?
Use iTalki.com and speak with a native speaker and in exchange you learn to him/her your native language. (improve your group).
Yes, it’s possible. You will try several times and you will do several mistakes to improve yourself and it will be difficult. The most important is to know why you do all these things and not the others. It’s to improve your lifestyle and you’re the only person to do it.

Think about this. Contact companies that already have your customers and don’t compete with you. You offer them a partnership with you to increase sales.
A personal trainer who just start his business had difficult to find clients. The tips is to find companies that have the same type of client but they’re not competitors to make partnerships.
This personal trainer spend 2 hours to identify his client types.
The client type majority of the personal trainer was a woman, 30-40 years old with an university degree who doesn’t have time to make play sports, who doesn’t have the discipline to do it and who need someone who comes home for motivation and training.
Now, which companies have the same client type ? After having searched, the personnal trainer found it, it’s estheticians, beauty institutes, etc.
So the personal trainer went to see estheticians and beauty institutes and say them : « Your clients come here to be more beautiful and have a better look. Me, I can help them to have a better better physique, better health and be more happy ».
One week later, he had more clients that he could handle. This was a quick start.
You have several ways to do this. First, you determine your client type. If you don’t have your business yet, you can make your client type’s hypothesis to start and adjusting after. It’s important, everything is based ont the client type.
Then you identify companies that have the same client type as you.
And action ! You will offer several things to these companies :
You can leave them your visit cards, flyers, etc.
You can ask them to actively promote your services with a commission
You can offer something for free to their clients as a free eBook « 7 tips to…. » in exchange of customers emails to send them the eBook.
There are other ways of making partnerships but they are good to start. There are people who will be afraid to do this but it’s worth for your company.
What is your client type ? Which companies have the same client type as you ?
In the world of nutrition, we can find contradictory things. It depends of the point of view of people about food :
I’m Paleo and I eat only meat, vegetables, fruits and nuts.
My diet is based on my macros (protein, carbs, fats). Paleo is ridiculous.
Fool, a calorie is a calorie. You can lose weight by eating less.
I have a good physique and I eat pizza. I’m weird
Each person has his/her vision about « eat healthy ». It for this reason that this theme is confused with a lot of contradictory scientific studies.
A calorie is a unit of energy
This is the equalent of 4.184 absolute joules (that is different of 1.21 gigawatts.
Here what is means : 1 calorie of food is equivalent to 1 kilocalorie that is the amount of energy required to increase the temperature of 1gr of water from 15C° to 16C°.
In a certain way we can say that a calorie is a calorie but what is interrests us is « does different kind of calorie affect our body differently ? »
Is what 1000 calories of cookies is the same as 1000 calories of grass-fed steak and vegetable ?
Does our body treat these foods differently or it’s only energy in and energy out ?
Does the type of food affect our body other than just to lose weight and gain muscle ?
These questions create a lot of debates and on internet everything is amplified with people who show scientific studies. Internet is good to debate but we’ll go deeper.
It doesn’t matter the « nutritional philosophy » you have, but something is obvious. How you eat is responsible of 80-90 % of your success ou your failure.
You can improve you cardiovascular heath by running a lot but if your goal is to transform your body, how you feed your body will play an important rôle.
Training (exercices) have a role of support of maintenance of the body.
When we talk about pure weight loss, eat less calories that you burn each day is the key of the equation.
But we want do everything to avoid to have heart disease and diabetes. It for this reason we need to focus on the food’s type that we eat and the amount of food that we eat.
Calories are equal to loss weight
A person eat around between 3000 and 3500 calories per day of everything he/she wants. And now, he/she wants to lose weight.
This person decides to eat 2200 calories per day by eating less. This person doesn’t change what he/she eat but change proportions.
This person see that he/she loses weight, it’s good and it’s possible that he/she feels unhappy because he/she decreased drastically his/her normal amount of calories. Yet, it’s a good step in the right direction.
When we consume on average less than 500 calories per day, we burn 500 calories that we have in excess in our body. We can combine this with exercice and we can lose aound 0.45kg (1lb) of body mass per week.
As quoted on Examine.com , « a net negative energy balance…is responsible for weight loss ».
You noticed, it says « lose weight » and not « lose fat ».
It’s at this point that the big problems begin. People eat less and it’s enough for them.
We know our body react differently to certain types of food like sugar. Certain food fill the stomach more than other without have a lot of calories (vegetable). And others fill us less the stomach with a lot of calories (soda, cookies and candy).
Remember that all processed foods are scientifically created so that you are always lacking this type of food as a drug addict.
Use small plates is very effective to help to eat less. A study from Cornell University found that if they gave people a large tub or a medium tub of popcorn, and then gave them stale popcorn, the size of the tub mattered far more than the staleness of the popcorn in determining how much people ate !
We’re not rational creatures. Some food are dense in calories and low in nutrients and make us hungry all day.
Compared to a diet of vegetables and meat, it’s the opposite. It’s food low in calories and dense in nutrients and we have a sensation of satiety. Which make it easier the reduction of calories to lose weight.
If you have a lot of weight to lose, eat less to start to be in the good direction.
Now if you want an athletic body, it’s a little bit different. There is 2 type of food that affect the composition of our body and our athletic performances.
Eating for health and success
To have an athletic body, you must take care about your macros (a certain amount of fats, carbs and protein).
It’s clear that 100 grams of vegetables carbohydrates is not equal to 100 grams of candy :
Consideres that sweets and processed food are created for you to eat and buy more like a drug addict.
Look the difference of micronutrients between vegetables and candy
Pay attention of your energy after eating vegetables and sweets/candy. With which you have the most energy ?
We searching a way to eat that allow us to have a good look/appearence and to feel good. A diet that takes us away from the hospital and allows us to enjoy life.
Look, if you like the idea to eat less but you don’t like the idea to count calories and macros each day, you can hack something. Stay focus on a type of food : Real food !
Instead to count calories
At each meal, have 1-2 vegetables in your plate (or the half of the plate) and have a great source of protein.
Not aim to lose weight for a few weeks
Track your calories and macros for few days or 1 week to analyze what you eat. Take note, note the size of portions and do the total of the quantity of the day. This allows you to plan your meals during the day and during all the year.
We know that eat less and to more physical activity, help us to lose weight and we are still overweight. Eat less isn’t a permanent solution because there is also the element of behavioral psychology.
It’s simple, our body is a complex machine. And even if a calorie is a calorie is a simple equation to lose weight, each « health » factor can be affected by the quality and nutrients of this calorie.
For this reason, I want you eat real foods, decrease sugar and think long term (new habits) rather than the 12-weeks formulas.

To become limitless, here is the list of things we should be able to do :
Read more often – We can read a book very very quick and remember all the important things.
Write a book – We can write a book in few days or weeks instead years.
Learn a langage – We can talk a langage in few weeks and we can have a nice conversation with people with that langage is their native langage.
Have an excellent physique – We can train in an effective way without spend several hours in the gym to see results.
Maybe you will change some things in this list but I think this list is fun.

It’s mean, if we learn something in the good way, 8 hours per day everydays, we should be an expert in 3 years and a half.
But we don’t have all this time and we don’t want to be the master of the experts.
When we learn a langage, a dance, a martial art or a new musical instrument, we need to identify the key movements or the key words. We need to become proficient in the skill. Don’t worry about the rest of the stuff.
A new instrument
Rather than studying complex compositions of classical music, look current music and studies the patterns.
If you learn basic guitar chords, you can learn 80 % of popular music.
If you learn basic piano chords, you can quickly learn pop music you always wanted to play.
The goal isn’t to to play in a symphonic orchestra but to learn the basics and take pleasure in making progress.

Third : Environment
Now our brains are ready to learn and we identified the skills or goals we want to have, it’s the time to create an environment for success.
Often people advise to be able to do several thing in the same time but the only thing this behavior do is to decrease your ability to learn and your productivity. Look the results you have when you work and every 10 minutes you watch a video on YouTube. Every time you change activity before you finish, you become less creative and productive.
Si you want be productive, focus on one thing and finish it. If you learn a new langage, dedicate time only for it and nothing else.
B : Remove all distractions
Often people thing they can do their passion in evening around 21h-22h (9pm-10pm). It’s not true because people are distracted very easy all day. They spend a lot of time on Facebook, Youtube, Gmail, Instagram, Snapchat, etc. Then when everybody sleep, it’s at this moment they work on their passion.
Work on your passion immediately after your school/work and you will see the difference. It’s guarantee !
There are apps like « Self Control » to allow you to not be distract any more
If you want write a book, go in a boring place. Don’t go in a place where there is a lot of cool stuff.
If you want read a book, go in a place where there isn’t TV. Don’t be tempted or cancel you cable (we can watch everything on internet now).

If you want learn something quickly, you can find some people who learned this skill quickly. Ask to this person how he/she learned this and test it.
Make mistakes the 1st day
You can learn a langage with a grammar book for years but if you don’t speak this langage with people, it’s useless. It’s like deadlift or something else, accepts that failure is a part of the process to be better.
Learn 1-2 new skills
Learn Taekwondo, piano and spanish is too much. Select 1-2 and stay focus on it.
Different kind of music
If you try to read more or be more productive at work, experiment different type of music like rap, electro, classical music, movie soundtrack, etc. At different moment of the day, you need to be in a different state of mind (calm, aggressive), use music to be more productive.
